A sprint goal, if correctly applied, states the outcome of the iteration and guides the work of the development team. Unfortunately, many teams either don’t use sprint goals at all or apply them to state the stories to be implemented rather than the reason for undertaking the iteration.
Roman’s template helps you formulate effective sprint goals by answering the following three questions: Why do you carry out the sprint? How are you going to achieve the desired outcome? And how will you know that the goal has been met? Download the template and revitalise your sprints!
